An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced OutpatientNurse to join the Outpatientsteam at a leading independent healthcare provider in Lancashire. Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality outpatient and pre-assessment services while ensuring every patient receives exceptional care throughout their journey.
The Role As a Outpatient Nurse in thedepartment, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centred nursing care within the outpatient setting.
- Undertake comprehensive pre-operative assessments for a variety of surgical specialties.
- Support consultants and the wider multidisciplinary team during clinics and procedures.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with professional standards.
- Promote patient safety and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
- Provide education, reassurance and support to patients and their families.
About You To be considered, you will have:
- Current NMC Registered Nurse (Adult) registration.
- Previous experience working within an Outpatients or Pre-Assessment department.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- A flexible, proactive and compassionate approach to patient care.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional clinical standards.
