The Role

You will oversee three Extra Care schemes across Blackburn and Darwen, ensuring high-quality care delivery, regulatory compliance and effective service performance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing care teams
  • Managing staffing levels and workforce planning
  • Maintaining CQC compliance and quality standards
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding and retention
  • Building positive relationships with service users, families and professionals
  • Monitoring performance and driving service improvement
  • Managing budgets and operational performance

About You

To be successful in this Extra Care Scheme Manager role, you will have:

  • Management experience within Extra Care, domiciliary care, supported living or community care
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards
  • Experience leading teams and managing service performance
  • Good commercial awareness and organisational skills
  • A passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care
