We are recruiting an experienced Paediatric Clinical Lead to join a well-established, nurse-led community complex care provider with over 10 years of proven delivery across children's home-based care packages. Covering Oxfordshire, including Oxford, Banbury, Bicester, Didcot and surrounding areas, this role focuses on the clinical leadership of paediatric complex care packages delivered in the community. As demand continues to grow locally, the Paediatric Clinical Lead role is central to maintaining high standards of safety, governance, and family-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical oversight of paediatric complex care packages in the community
  • Completion of assessments, care planning, and risk management
  • Training delivery, competency sign-off, and clinical supervision of nurses and carers
  • Ongoing support to families and liaison with commissioners and MDTs
  • Ensuring safe delivery of complex clinical care including tracheostomy and ventilation

Essential Criteria

  • Registered Children's Nurse (RSCN or RN Child) with an active NMC PIN
  • Demonstrable experience within paediatric complex care in the community
  • Previous experience in a senior, lead, or supervisory nursing role
  • Strong organisation, communication, and clinical decision-making skills
  • Full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel across Oxfordshire
