  • Salary up to £46,482 depending on experience
  • Paid NMC registration

The Role

As a Mental Health Nurse, you'll deliver high-quality nursing care to adults with complex mental health needs, acquired brain injuries and neurological conditions. Working closely with the wider multidisciplinary team, you'll support patients through every stage of their rehabilitation while promoting recovery, independence and positive clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, compassionate and recovery-focused nursing care
  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate person-centred care plans
  • Administer and monitor medication safely in line with NMC guidelines
  • Carry out comprehensive mental health and risk assessments
  • Recognise changes in patients' physical and mental health, responding appropriately
  • Work collaboratively with Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and the wider MDT
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to effective care planning
  • Support patients and their families throughout the rehabilitation process
  • Promote safeguarding, dignity, independence and clinical excellence at all times

About You

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with an active NMC PIN
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience in mental health, neurorehabilitation, acquired brain injury or complex care is desirable but not essential
  • Committed to continuous learning and professional development

If you're looking for a role where you'll have the time to truly get to know your patients, develop specialist clinical skills and become part of a supportive team that genuinely values its nurses, I'd love to speak with you.
