I'm recruiting for an RNLD to join a specialist neuropsychiatric rehabilitation service supporting adults with learning disabilities, acquired brain injuries and neurological disorders. You'll have the opportunity to support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, helping them develop greater independence while delivering truly person-centred care.
You'll be joining a highly experienced multidisciplinary team in a purpose-built service that places rehabilitation, compassion and individualised care at the heart of everything it does.

The Role
As a Learning Disability Nurse, you'll deliver high-quality nursing care to adults with learning disabilities, acquired brain injuries and complex neurological conditions. Working alongside the wider multidisciplinary team, you'll help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals while promoting independence, dignity and positive long-term outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, compassionate and person-centred nursing care
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised care plans
- Administer and monitor medication safely in line with NMC guidelines
- Carry out comprehensive physical and mental health assessments
- Promote independence through positive behaviour support and therapeutic interventions
- Recognise changes in patients' physical and emotional wellbeing, responding appropriately
- Work collaboratively with Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and the wider MDT
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to effective care planning
- Support patients, families and carers throughout the rehabilitation journey
- Promote safeguarding, dignity, choice and clinical excellence at all times
About You
- Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) with an active NMC PIN
- Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, acquired brain injuries, neurological conditions or complex care is desirable but not essential
- Committed to continuous learning and professional development
