Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality outpatient and pre-assessment services while ensuring every patient receives exceptional care throughout their journey.
The Role
As a Outpatient Nurse in thedepartment, you will:
Deliver high-quality, patient-centred nursing care within the outpatient setting.
Undertake comprehensive pre-operative assessments for a variety of surgical specialties.
Support consultants and the wider multidisciplinary team during clinics and procedures.
Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with professional standards.
Promote patient safety and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
Provide education, reassurance and support to patients and their families.
About You
To be considered, you will have:
Current
NMC Registered Nurse (Adult)
registration.
Previous experience working within an
Outpatients
or
Pre-Assessment
department.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
A flexible, proactive and compassionate approach to patient care.
A commitment to delivering exceptional clinical standards.
