We are looking for an experienced Mental Health Social Worker to join a collaborative adult social care service. You will support adults with complex mental health needs to access the right care, build independence and achieve meaningful, person-centred outcomes.

The role:

You will manage a varied caseload of adults with mental health needs, completing strengths-based assessments, care planning and safeguarding work. You will work closely with individuals, families, health professionals and partner agencies to coordinate effective support, promote recovery and help people maintain as much independence as possible.

What you’ll need:

  • A recognised Social Work qualification
  • Current Social Work England registration
  • Experience working with adults with mental health needs
  • Confidence completing assessments, safeguarding enquiries and care planning
  • Strong communication and partnership-working skills
  • A commitment to person-centred, strengths-based practice
