You'll use your specialist occupational therapy expertise to assess functional impact, sensory processing, motor development and daily living skills, contributing to high-quality, evidence-based diagnostic assessments. Working as part of an experienced MDT, you'll carry out structured assessments, gather information from families and education settings, provide clinical reasoning during MDT discussions and produce clear reports with practical recommendations for children, young people and their families.

Alongside your clinical work, you'll work collaboratively with the wider MDT to ensure safe, timely and person-centred assessments while maintaining high standards of clinical governance.

  • Experience working with children and young people within neurodevelopmental, CAMHS or paediatric services.
  • Experience contributing to ASD and/or ADHD assessments within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong knowledge of functional assessment, sensory processing and child development.
  • Excellent communication, clinical reasoning and report-writing skills.
