Work as an Agency Chemotherapy Nurse for a nationally recognised, specialist provider of Cancer Care. This is a community-based role covering Inverness and the Highland council area, working via our agency on a temporary contract. As an Agency Chemotherapy Nurse, you will provide oncology patients with a range of treatments in their own homes.

This role offers 32 to 40 hour contracts per week, with guaranteed shifts, working 4 or 5 days per week. Contracts are issued on a 3 month basis, with flexibility to extend.

This role will involve seeing patients for:

  • Bloods
  • Toxicity assessments
  • IV chemotherapy
  • Oral chemotherapy
  • Pump disconnections
  • Line care
  • IM and SC injections
  • And related community oncology interventions

  • Competitive hourly rate of £43 to £48 per hour based on experience

  • Monday to Friday role, approximately 8 hours per day

Requirements for this well-paid agency chemotherapy nurse position:

  • Active NMC Pin as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience in Oncology, Haematology or Chemotherapy is essential
  • Cannulation and venepuncture experience
  • Full UK driving licence
  • SACT Passport or equivalent qualification
