Leaders in Care are hiring a Matron (Children & Young Adults) for a highly respected hospice in Stoke-on-Trent. This Matron position comes with an excellent salary of £65,000 p/a, sociable working hours, industry leading pension contributions and more excellent benefits.

This Matron vacancy offers an opportunity to join a highly respected hospice which was rated Outstanding in the responsive category of their last CQC report, along with being recently recognised as an investor in excellence.
Responsibilities of this Matron role include:
- Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for the strategic development of the hospice
- Oversee two specialist 5-bed units, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered within the Children & Young Adults department
- Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing team and the wider MDT
- Work collaboratively with other units at the hospice and foster an environment of positive integration within the service
- Develop and implement high-quality, family-centred palliative care models
- Ensure compliance with CQC and regulatory standards, maintaining an environment of clinical excellence
