You'll be joining a nationally recognised healthcare provider that supports thousands of patients every year with specialist treatments in the community. As a Community Chemotherapy Nurse, you'll have the autonomy to manage your own caseload while building meaningful relationships with patients throughout their treatment journey.

As a Community Chemotherapy Nurse, you will:

  • Deliver chemotherapy treatments safely in patients' homes across Plymouth and the surrounding areas
  • Undertake comprehensive patient assessments before and during treatment
  • Administer IV chemotherapy, perform cannulation and phlebotomy
  • Monitor patients throughout treatment and manage adverse reactions appropriately
  • Build strong relationships with patients, carers and the wider multidisciplinary team
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation while delivering the highest standards of patient care

About you:

  • Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC registration
  • Experienced administering chemotherapy in a hospital or community setting
  • SACT Passport or recognised chemotherapy qualification preferred
  • Competent in IV therapy, cannulation and phlebotomy
  • Confident working independently with excellent clinical assessment skills
  • Full UK driving licence
