Your Role
As a Chemotherapy Nurse, youll work independently in the community while remaining closely connected to a wider, supportive clinical team. You\’ll manage a varied caseload involving:
- Blood collection and toxicity assessments
- Administration of IV/oral chemotherapy and cytotoxic drugs
- Pump disconnections and central line care
- IM/SC injections and clinical assessments
Youll gain exposure to cutting-edge therapies and contribute to the development of flexible care models that challenge conventional healthcare settings.
Key Requirements
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active NMC PIN
- Full UK driving licence
- Chemotherapy competence (including cannulation and clinical assessment)
- SACT Passport (desirable)
- Community experience (desirable, not essential)
- Confident working independently in patients\’ homes
