We are looking for an experienced Chemotherapy Nurse to work for the UK\’s leading provider of specialist private homecare. Working in the Essex catchment area, you will be delivering care to patients in the comfort of their own home. This role will involve seeing patients for bloods, toxicity assessments, IV/Oral chemotherapy, pump disconnections, line care, IM/SC injections and more. Although you will be working independently in the community, you will remain very much part of a wider nursing team, enjoying regular contact with managers and colleagues. You will remain at the cutting edge of your profession, gaining exposure to new technologies and therapies, and helping to develop care models that break the mould. Key criteria for a Chemotherapy Nurse include: RGN with active NMC PIN Full UK driving licence Experience of community based work is desirable but not essential Experience within the acute setting and competent in the administration of chemotherapy, cytotoxic drugs, cannulation and clinical assessments SACT Passport desirable but not essential There is an excellent selection of benefits on offer for any successful Chemotherapy Nurse as per below Salary up to £43,000 per annum Fully expensed company car and fuel card or car allowance of £4,877.50per annum plus mileage NMC fee reimbursement Contributory pension scheme Death in service (4 x salary) Annual holiday 33 days inclusive of bank holidays with option to buy 5 more Mobile phone and tablet device Weekend and evening enhancements 30% / 60% Support with revalidation If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience to excel as a specialist Chemotherapy Nurse in Essex, please click APPLY or contact Sam on07828876725 for further information.
