Our client, an innovative mental health service provider, is seeking a passionate and dedicated CAMHS Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join their team in Accrington. This role offers the opportunity to work in a specialist mental health service for young people with complex needs.
Enjoy a competitive salary ranging from £36,000 to £40,300 per year, depending on experience. There is a full time role available for an RMN on day shifts, and a full time position on nights, working 3 shifts one week and 4 the next. The shifts on days are 7.50am - 8.05pm. The shifts on nights are 7.50pm - 8.05am. The rota is to work week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday. Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Our client is a new and exciting service offering high-quality specialist mental health services for young people aged 8-18 years. With two bespoke 10-bedded units, the company focuses on assessment, stabilisation, treatment, and intervention, using an attachment and trauma model to support looked-after children.
As a CAMHS Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you will:
- Assess a variety of acute and complex mental health issues
- Plan and implement treatment collaboratively
- Work with multi-agency teams and involve families in care
- Manage challenging behaviours using de-escalation skills
- Support young people through therapeutic interventions and community activities
- Complete records and notes in accordance with policy
- Safeguard young people and manage medication
The ideal CAMHS Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) will have:
- At least 1 year of post-qualification experience
- A valid NMC pin
- Strong communication skills and resilience
- The ability to manage challenging behaviours
- A proactive and empathetic approach
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
