Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership across the hospital, supporting governance, quality improvement and regulatory compliance.
  • Act as Responsible Clinician for an 8-bed CAMHS PICU service, overseeing assessment, treatment planning and clinical outcomes.
  • Support consultant supervision, multidisciplinary decision-making and service development initiatives.
  • Promote high standards of patient care while contributing to strategic planning and organisational objectives.
About You
  • Fully GMC registered & MBBS (or equivalent) qualified.
  • Registered on the specialist register (CCT/CESR), Section 12 and AC Status.
  • Significant experience in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
  • Deep understanding of the Mental Health Act and Code of Practice, along with the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Code of Capacity.
  • Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) or equivalent.
