Are you an experienced Healthcare Operations Lead who can keep a busy service running smoothly while driving performance and improvement? We are working with a leading digital healthcare provider to recruit an Operations Lead for their Cancer Support and Screening service. This is an initial 6 month contract offering the chance to take real ownership of service delivery, support a high-performing team and drive operational improvement during a period of growth and change.
This role would suit someone with strong healthcare operations experience who enjoys improving processes, managing teams and making sure patients receive a safe, efficient and well-coordinated service.
The Role: You will oversee the day-to-day running of the service, working closely with clinical and leadership teams to keep operations on track and service standards high. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading day-to-day service delivery across Cancer Support and Screening
- Supporting and managing the Cancer Support team
- Overseeing patient pathways and caseload flow
- Managing staffing, rotas and service capacity
- Monitoring KPIs, SLAs and operational performance
- Supporting screening workflows and external partner coordination
- Producing clear reports and updates for senior stakeholders
- Spotting risks, resolving issues and driving improvements
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in healthcare operations, service delivery or team leadership
- Strong understanding of patient pathways and service coordination
- Confident managing KPIs, performance and workflow standards
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Able to work under pressure and juggle competing priorities
