We are working with an established healthcare provider looking for a Children & Young Peoples ASD Assessor to join their clinical team and support high-quality autism assessments for children and young people.

The Role

  • Completing structured autism assessments for children and young people.
  • Gathering information from parents, schools and other professionals.
  • Reviewing developmental history and clinical information.
  • Working with the wider MDT to support diagnostic decisions.
  • Writing clear, professional and neurodiversity-affirming reports.
  • Discussing assessment outcomes with families in a sensitive and accessible way.

What We're Looking For

  • Current NMC, HCPC or another relevant professional registration.
  • Experience working within neurodevelopmental, CAMHS or paediatric services.
  • Experience contributing to or completing autism assessments for children and young people.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and the ability to work confidently within a structured pathway.
