We are working with an established healthcare provider looking for a Children & Young Peoples ASD Assessor to join their clinical team and support high-quality autism assessments for children and young people.
The Role
- Completing structured autism assessments for children and young people.
- Gathering information from parents, schools and other professionals.
- Reviewing developmental history and clinical information.
- Working with the wider MDT to support diagnostic decisions.
- Writing clear, professional and neurodiversity-affirming reports.
- Discussing assessment outcomes with families in a sensitive and accessible way.
What We're Looking For
- Current NMC, HCPC or another relevant professional registration.
- Experience working within neurodevelopmental, CAMHS or paediatric services.
- Experience contributing to or completing autism assessments for children and young people.
- Strong clinical reasoning and the ability to work confidently within a structured pathway.
