Youll manage your own community caseload, spend meaningful one-to-one time with your patients and deliver high-quality oncology, haematology and systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT) within the home. Salary up to £44,500 per annum Company car or £4,887.50 car allowance Monday-Friday working No nights, weekends or bank holidays Paid NMC registration Private medical insurance following qualifying period Pension scheme Life assurance Structured induction programme Ongoing oncology and clinical development Excellent clinical support and governance The Role As a Community Chemotherapy Nurse, youll work autonomously across Dundee and the surrounding areas, delivering specialist cancer treatments safely within patients homes. Your responsibilities will include: Delivering chemotherapy and systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT) in the community Administering oncology and haematology treatments safely and in line with clinical protocols Completing pre-treatment clinical assessments Reviewing observations and identifying treatment-related concerns Cannulation, venepuncture and vascular access management Monitoring patients during treatment and responding to adverse reactions Maintaining accurate electronic clinical records Educating and supporting patients and their families throughout treatment Liaising with hospitals, consultants and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care Managing your own community caseload and daily schedule What Were Looking For To be considered, youll need: Active NMC registration as an Adult Nurse / RGN Recent experience administering chemotherapy with SACT passport Competency in the administration of cytotoxic drugs Strong cannulation and venepuncture skills Experience managing vascular access devices Confident clinical assessment and decision-making skills Excellent communication and patient-care skills Ability to work independently within a community setting Full UK driving licence Why Make the Move into Community Oncology?
