Are you an experienced Chemotherapy Nurse or SACT Nurse looking for more autonomy, better work-life balance and the opportunity to deliver truly personalised patient care?

I’m recruiting for a leading specialist healthcare provider, looking for a Community Chemotherapy Nurse to deliver oncology and haematology treatments to patients across Newcastle and Tyne and Wear.

You’ll manage your own caseload, working one-to-one with patients in their own homes while being fully supported by an experienced clinical team.

What’s on Offer?

  • Company car or £4,887.50 car allowance

The Role

  • Delivering chemotherapy and SACT within patients’ homes
  • Completing pre-treatment assessments
  • Cannulation, venepuncture and vascular access management
  • Monitoring patients and managing adverse reactions
  • Providing patient education and ongoing support
  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
  • Liaising with hospitals, consultants and MDTs

About You

You’ll need

  • Active NMC registration – Adult Nurse/RGN
  • Recent chemotherapy or SACT experience
  • Competency administering cytotoxic treatments
  • Strong cannulation and venous access skills
  • Confidence working autonomously
  • Full UK driving licence

This is an excellent opportunity to continue working within specialist oncology while gaining more time with your patients, greater independence and a Monday–Friday working pattern.
