This is a full-time, permanent position combining clinic-based work with regular travel to client sites using a fully equipped mobile medical unit, ideal for someone who enjoys a varied and hands‑on role.
Role Overview
You will work collaboratively with the clinical team to deliver a full range of Occupational Health services to a diverse client base. This role involves both clinic and on-site work, with travel forming a key part of your responsibilities (paid within working hours).
Key duties include:
- Case management assessments and management referrals
- Health surveillance (spirometry, audiometry, HAVS)
- Administering vaccinations in line with the Green Book
- Drug and alcohol screening
- DSE and workplace health assessments
- Delivering wellbeing clinics and health promotion initiatives
- Making autonomous clinical decisions and referrals
- Managing medical stock, vaccines, and equipment safely
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring GDPR compliance
- Supporting junior staff and contributing to team development
- Participating in internal meetings and service improvement
You will also be responsible for travelling to client sites, operating a mobile medical unit, and delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in a variety of workplace settings.
Person Specification
- Registered Nurse (NMC)
- Minimum 2 years’ Occupational Health experience
- Competent in spirometry, audiometry, HAVS, phlebotomy, and vaccinations
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel regularly to client sites
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Experience implementing clinical protocols and guidelines
