Your Role
- Act as a key decision-maker and safeguard within the service
- Hospital Managers’ Hearings under the Mental Health Act
- Review of detention and section papers
- Participation in quarterly governance meetings
- Engagement with service users on wards to understand patient experience
- Oversight of care standards, rights, and legal compliance
What We’re Looking For
- Degree-level education (or equivalent) in a relevant field
- Background in mental health, social work, AMHP, or legal sectors
- Strong understanding of Mental Health Act processes
- Excellent decision-making, independence, and professional judgement
- Ability to manage sensitive information with integrity and discretion
