Birmingham Children’s Trust are currently looking for Senior Social Workers to join their ever growing service as a Senior Practitioner. You will have the opportunity to experience every aspect of social work within their Safeguarding Team; therefore allowing you to progress in your social work practice; as well as the opportunity to forge out a managerial career.
As one of our Senior Practitioners, you’ll find everything designed to assist you in achieving the most positive outcomes. Because Birmingham are focused on children and young people’s safeguarding and wellbeing and nothing else, you’ll be free to do the same.
You’ll play a lead role on our relationship-based, trauma informed practice model, managing a complex caseload, providing technical and professional expertise, as well as mentoring and professional support to the rest of the less experienced social work team members and students.
- £45,091 - £53460 per annum
- An incentive payment of£1,000paid in full in your first months’ salary (T&C’s apply)
- Retention bonus of£2,400per annum paid in monthly instalments(T&C’s apply)
- Relocation Allowance of up to£8,000(T&C’s apply)
- We pay your Social Work England registration fee
- We pay your DBS application fee and reimburse your update service fee
- A generous annual leave package of30 daysannual leave, plus bank holidays, rising to 33 days after 5 years of service and 35 days after 10 years of service.
