About the Role:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join their Paediatric Neurorehabilitation and Complex Care Inpatient Ward in London. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in the smooth operation of the department. You will support and mentor junior nurses, using your extensive clinical knowledge to guide and support them, and step up to lead the unit in the absence of the Sister/Charge Nurse. This varied role includes implementing and evaluating holistic care plans for children in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team and participating in audits or quality improvement projects to enhance the care provided. - NMC Child Registered Nurse (RN Child / RSCN) with immediate paediatric life support.
- Experience in Paediatric Neurorehabilitation and complex care needs.
- Experience with tracheostomised patients (desirable).
- Understanding of safeguarding issues.
- Teaching and mentoring experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong clinical governance and experience with audits.
- Experience supervising and assessing students and shift leading (desirable).
