Join a busy private outpatient setting where you can make a real difference as aOutpatient Nurse, delivering high-quality patient care, supporting safe clinic flow and using your clinical judgement every day. ThisOutpatient Nurserole offers autonomy, variety and the chance to work across outpatient care, pre-assessment and wound care in a supportive clinical environment.

You will be trusted to work independently in a clinic where you are the sole clinician on site, with strong scope to use and develop your wound care and assessment skills. TheOutpatient Nurseposition also offers stability, structured hours and an important on-call contribution.

Package & Benefits

  • Β£35,000 per annum.
  • 40 hours per week, 5 days per week.
  • Monday to Friday working at present, with potential future weekend cover.
  • On-call rota twice per month, paid an additional Β£35 per day completed.
  • Telephone-only on-call, with no travel required.

About the Company

This is a private outpatient clinic providing hands-on clinical care in a professional, patient-focused environment. The team works to high standards, with a strong emphasis on safe practice, efficiency and quality service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outpatient nursing care, including post-operative calls, wound care and pre-operative assessments.
  • Carry out venepuncture, ECGs, baseline observations and required clinical paperwork accurately.
  • Support clinic running, admission checks, surgeon coordination and escalation of clinical concerns.
  • Maintain compliance with CQC, infection control, health and safety and audit requirements.

About You

  • You are a registered nurse with strong experience in wound care and the ability to work independently.
  • You are fully competent in venepuncture and taking ECGs.
  • Pre-assessment experience is desirable, and you can manage telephone-based on-call duties confidently.
