Are you an experienced Chemotherapy Nurse, Oncology Nurse or SACT Nurse looking for more autonomy, variety and the chance to deliver specialist cancer care outside of the hospital environment?
We’re recruiting for a Chemotherapy Nurse Specialist to join a growing clinical homecare service across the East Midlands.
This is a varied role combining patient home visits, clinic-based treatment and virtual assessments, giving you the opportunity to support patients throughout their oncology treatment journey while managing your own caseload.

The Role
As a Chemotherapy Nurse Specialist, you’ll:
- Deliver SACT and oncology treatments in patients’ homes and clinic settings
- Carry out clinical assessments and virtual patient reviews
- Administer IV medications and prescribed cancer treatments
- Manage your own oncology caseload
- Monitor patients before, during and after treatment
- Recognise and respond to treatment‑related side effects or clinical deterioration
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Develop and review individualised care plans
- Work closely with consultants, GPs and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate clinical records and high standards of clinical governance
What We’re Looking For
You’ll need:
- Current NMC registration
- Strong oncology or chemotherapy nursing experience
- Current SACT Passport via Compassly with at least 6 months remaining
- Independent Nurse Prescriber qualification
- Strong patient assessment and clinical decision‑making skills
- Confidence working independently and managing your own caseload
- Full UK driving licence
- Flexibility to travel across the East Midlands
Experience as a Chemotherapy Nurse, Oncology Nurse, SACT Nurse, Community Chemotherapy Nurse, Community Oncology Nurse, Cancer Nurse or Clinical Homecare Nurse would be highly relevant.
