Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership across the hospital, supporting governance, quality improvement and regulatory compliance.
- Act as Responsible Clinician for an 8‑bed CAMHS PICU service, overseeing assessment, treatment planning and clinical outcomes.
- Support consultant supervision, multidisciplinary decision‑making and service development initiatives.
- Promote high standards of patient care while contributing to strategic planning and organisational objectives.
About You
- Fully GMC registered & MBBS (or equivalent) qualified.
- Registered on the specialist register (CCT/CESR), Section 12 and AC Status.
- Significant experience in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Deep understanding of the Mental Health Act and Code of Practice, along with the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Code of Capacity.
- Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) or equivalent.
