Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake assessments and develop effective plans for children and families.
  • Provide ongoing support and intervention to children subject to Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children plans where appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively with schools, health professionals, and other partner agencies to coordinate support.
  • Manage a varied caseload, ensuring timely assessments, reviews, and interventions.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for meetings, conferences, and court proceedings where required.

About You

  • Qualified Social Worker with a recognised social work qualification and Social Work England registration.
  • Experience working within Children's Services, ideally in a Locality, Safeguarding, or Assessment Team.
  • Strong assessment, relationship-building, and case management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multi-agency environment to improve outcomes for children and families.
