£65,000 to £70,000 per annum.
An established large nursing home is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead the service through its next phase of development.
Recently acquired by a committed provider, the home is in a positive position with approximately 88% occupancy, established digital care systems and a clear opportunity for a commercially aware, quality-focused leader to build on existing foundations.
The role.
You will take overall responsibility for the operational, clinical and regulatory performance of the home. This includes leading the staff team, maintaining high standards of person-centred care, ensuring CQC compliance, managing occupancy and developing positive relationships with residents, families, professionals and the local community.
Key responsibilities.
- Provide visible, effective leadership across a large service
- Maintain and improve quality, safeguarding and regulatory compliance.
- Lead, develop and retain a skilled care and nursing team.
- Oversee staffing, rotas, agency use and workforce performance.
- Drive occupancy while protecting the home’s reputation and care standards.
- Manage budgets, KPIs and operational performance.
- Build strong relationships with families, commissioners and external professionals.
- Embed effective use of digital care planning and operational systems.
About you.
- You will have previous Registered Manager experience within a residential or nursing care setting.
- A nursing qualification and active NMC PIN are highly desirable.
- You will have a strong understanding of CQC requirements, safeguarding, clinical governance and care home operations.
- You will be commercially aware, organised and confident managing a large staff team.
- You will be committed to delivering safe, dignified and high-quality care for older people.
- You will be able to balance operational demands with a visible, supportive leadership style.
