As a Community Paediatric Nurse, you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality clinical care in the comfort of children's homes. You will manage a small, focused caseload of 4–5 children per day, working collaboratively with families, carers, and NHS partners to ensure safe, personalised, and effective care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist paediatric nursing care, including IV therapy, cannulation, and subcutaneous injections
- Conduct clinical assessments and monitor each child's ongoing care needs
- Manage a daily caseload of 4–5 children, ensuring continuity and quality
- Communicate effectively with families, carers, and wider healthcare teams
- Registered Children's Nurse (RSCN/RCN) with an active NMC PIN
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience within hospital or community paediatric care
- Competent in cannulation, subcutaneous injections, and clinical assessments
- Phlebotomy skills are desirable
- Salary of £34,000 / £35,000
- Fully expensed company car & fuel card or car allowance of £4,877.50
- NMC registration fees paid
