Overview

Are you an experienced Registered Nurse passionate about making a real difference in patients’ lives? Our client – a leading and rapidly growing healthcare provider – is looking for a Community Nurse to deliver high-quality renal and peritoneal dialysis care in patients’ homes in South Yorkshire, around Sheffield, Rotherham and Doncaster catchment areas. The role comes with an attractive salary of £40,840, paid mileage, and full training in dialysis.

You will be working 5 days a week, starting at either 7am or 1pm, no nights, and working weekends on rotation. Enjoy 31 days of annual leave, including bank holidays, and an additional day off for your birthday, private pension, car scheme and extra bonuses.

Our client is a dynamic healthcare company focused on delivering exceptional services in both home and clinical settings. You will be caring for renal and dialysis patients in their own homes in South Yorkshire.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with their Peritoneal Dialysis (PD).
  • Provide safe nursing care, including Peritoneal Dialysis, IV medication administration, and more.
  • Set up patients automated PD machines.
  • Visit patients to connect and disconnect them from their PD.
  • Monitor observations such as blood pressure and weight to ensure patient receives correct regime.
  • Provide peritoneal catheter site care and dressing changes.
  • Support both Adult & Paediatric patient’s in their own homes.

Qualifications

  • Current NMC qualifications as a Registered General Nurse or Children’s Nurse.
  • At least 2 years of post-qualification experience.
  • A valid driving license and flexibility to travel.
  • Community experience is desirable.
  • Full training is provided in dialysis.
