We are searching for a nurse-qualified Deputy Manager to join an award-winning care home provider based in Chipping Norton. This Deputy Manager position comes with a competitive salary of £51,500, sociable working hours, excellent training & development opportunities and more excellent benefits.

In this Deputy Manager role you will be joining a beautiful 60-bed home, with a dedicated and compassionate team that strives to provide the highest standards of care to their residents. As well as providing older person care, you will also provide care for advanced/complex dementia.

Duties in this Deputy Manager role include:

  • Responsibility for monitoring standards of care delivered by qualified care staff
  • Supporting the Manager in implementing all policies, procedures, and objectives
  • Monitoring the well-being of each resident, being aware of any change impacting care and care plans, and ensuring that new needs are met
  • Acting as a focal point for contact with residents, relatives and visitors, and health and social care professionals.

Criteria to apply:

  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Good knowledge / use of clinical care systems and governance
  • Prior experience in a senior clinical position within a care home
