Are you an experienced Duty & Assessment Social Worker looking for a role with manageable caseloads, flexible working arrangements, and strong management support?
We’re currently working with a well-regarded South Coast local authority that is actively recruiting experienced Social Workers into its Duty & Assessment Service.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out timely assessments and interventions, including completing child and family assessments, responding to referrals and undertaking initial visits, managing duty responsibilities and safeguarding concerns, conducting Section 47 enquiries where required, performing risk assessment and decision-making, and multi‑agency partnership working.
- Progressing cases to the most appropriate service pathway.
- Working closely with children, families, and partner agencies.

Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker (Current)
- Social Work England registration
- Previous experience within a Duty & Assessment, Referral & Assessment, or Front Door service
