We’re recruiting for an Advanced Social Work Practitioner to join a welcoming Adult Community Social Work Team.

The role

As an Advanced Social Work Practitioner, you’ll combine complex casework with practice leadership responsibilities. You’ll support the Team Manager to maintain high standards of social work practice, contribute to service development and help embed new ways of working across the team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and inspiring colleagues to deliver high-quality, strengths-based Adult Social Care
  • Supporting the development and implementation of innovative all-age working practices
  • Providing expert guidance, reflective support and mentoring to less experienced Social Workers
  • Managing and supporting complex adult social care cases across a range of needs and circumstances
  • Completing robust assessments, reviews, care and support plans tailored to individual needs

What you’ll need

  • A recognised Social Work qualification
  • Current Social Work England registration
  • Car driver with access to a vehicle essential
  • Significant post-qualified experience within Adult Social Care
