We are looking for an experienced Hair & Beauty Tutor to support learners across Greater Manchester and Lancashire.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who enjoys working with young people in both learning environments and employer settings, helping them achieve recognised vocational qualifications.
The Role
You will deliver engaging teaching and practical training while assessing learners against awarding body requirements.
Working closely with employers and learners, you will provide coaching, assessment and ongoing support to ensure successful achievement and progression.
You will also ensure that learner evidence is fully compliant and IQA-ready, maintaining high standards of quality assurance, safeguarding and learner engagement throughout the learner journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching and practical Hair & Beauty training.
- Assess learners against vocational qualification standards.
- Build positive relationships with learners, employers and placement providers.
- Conduct workplace visits to support learner progress.
- Produce accurate, compliant and IQA-ready assessment evidence.
- Monitor learner progress and provide timely feedback and coaching.
- Maintain awarding body requirements, quality assurance standards and accurate learner records.
- Promote learner attendance, engagement and achievement.
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety and equality policies are embedded within all delivery.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve positive learner outcomes.
About You
You will be passionate about vocational education and committed to supporting learners to achieve their full potential.
Essential requirements
- Recognised Assessor qualification (TAQA, A1, D32/D33 or equivalent).
- Relevant Hair & Beauty industry qualifications.
- Experience delivering and assessing vocational Hair & Beauty qualifications.
- Strong understanding of awarding body requirements and quality assurance processes.
- Experience producing compliant, IQA-ready learner evidence.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout Greater Manchester and Lancashire.
