Salary: £14.00 per hour + £50 per sleep-in
Hours: 40 hours per week | 12-hour shifts | 1 sleep-in per week | Overtime available

Are you an experienced care professional ready to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a dedicated Senior Support Worker to join a nurturing and structured children\’s residential home in Daventry.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong care background to develop their leadership skills while making a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the daily running of the home alongside the management team

Mentor and lead support staff to deliver high-quality care

Create and maintain a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment

Work in line with individual care plans and safeguarding procedures

Ensure consistent implementation of routines, boundaries, and expectations

Act as a positive role model for both staff and young people

Requirements:

1-2 years\’ experience in a care setting (children\’s residential experience preferred but not essential)

Strong understanding of safeguarding, behaviour management, and trauma-informed care

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work 12-hour shifts and complete 1 sleep-in per week

Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it preferred)
