Hours: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
The Leader Group is proud to be supporting a growing education programme which is part of a leading specialist education provider, in their search for a dedicated SEN Tutor. This role is all about making a genuine difference for learners who need extra support to reach their potential and find it a challenge to participate in attending school or learning sessions. This role is aimed to bring the school experience to the pupil so they don\’t miss out and can still achieve their academic goals. By supporting multiple pupils within the week in various locations across the region, so business car insurance is required.
The Role
As a SEN Tutor, you\’ll:
- Deliver Maths, English, and intervention sessions at KS3 or foundation KS4 level.
- Work face-to-face with learners in their homes or a neutral location such as community library or if needed over Microsoft teams, this is across the Wakefield area.
- Support vulnerable students by tailoring lessons to their learning needs.
- Collaborate with safeguarding advisors to ensure learner\\\’s wellbeing and development are fully supported.
About You
We\’re looking for someone who:
- Holds QTS/QTLS (essential).
- Brings a compassionate, student-focused approach, particularly for learners with SEND or SEMH needs.
- Has tutoring or teaching experience with children requiring additional support.
- Holds a full UK driving licence.
