Lead Mathematics Teacher – SEN, Sudbury, Suffolk
Up to £43,000 per year (DOE) | Full Time, Permanent | 40 hours per week
The Role
As Lead Mathematics Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across the curriculum.
- Establish personalised learning routes to support every pupil\’s progress.
- Provide one-to-one guidance and encourage independent learning and research.
- Set, mark, and assess homework and assignments, recording pupil progress and reporting on outcomes.
- Lead on curriculum planning and ensure delivery is aligned with Ofsted educational standards.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a passionate and committed approach to supporting students with SEND.
- Brings at least two years\’ experience in a SEND environment or similar provision.
- Holds QTS/QTLS (advantageous but not essential).
- Can inspire, motivate, and lead both students and colleagues in the teaching of Mathematics.
