Leader Education are recruiting for a Primary Teacher to work at a mainstream Primary School based in Newcastle. The successful teacher will be compassionate, patient and hold a qualified teacher status (QTS) as well as some relevant experience working alongside young people aged 3 to 11, some of whom may have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30am until 3:30pm and is a long-term position The ideal candidate will have: An enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to obtain one Teaching children in Key Stage 2 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A qualified teacher status (QTS) Some experience working with or alongside pupils that may exhibit some elements of SEND A compassionate, resilient and patient personality A great understanding of safeguarding and the welfare of children and young people Be familiar with some tailored interventions and programmes that are used to support children and young people experiencing struggles with additional needs Leader Education can offer Competitive pay rates Refer a friend or colleague\’s bonus scheme: £100 per referral (terms apply) Free mandatory training A dedicated consultant to answer any queries and for ongoing support Interested candidates are invited to submit a comprehensive CV outlining their teaching experience and qualifications that are relevant to this role.
