About the Role: We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teachers and Skilled Teachers to join a specialist team supporting students with social, emotional and mental health challenges, communication difficulties, and trauma-related behaviours. As part of a nurturing and innovative team, your responsibilities will include:
- Teaching and supporting students with a range of special educational needs (SEN).
- Delivering engaging English lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Setting, marking and providing constructive feedback on assignments, homework, and assessments.
- Supporting pupils in gaining a strong command of spoken and written English, enabling them to communicate confidently and effectively.
Ideal Candidate:
- Passionate about working with students with SEND.
- Experienced ideally with at least 2 years in a SEND environment or similar provision.
- Qualified QTS/QTLS is essential for 2 of the roles listed.
- Committed to creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment.
About the School: This SEN School supports pupils aged 11-17. The school is designed for students who have not thrived in mainstream settings and require a more therapeutic approach to learning in a nurturing learning environment. Many of the pupils have experienced trauma or social difficulties. That’s why we go beyond the typical classroom, providing specialized interventions and a team-based approach to helping young people reach their potential.
