Overview

Cover Supervisor role with Leader Education, working within secondary schools across Leeds, West Yorkshire, after the October half term break. This role is suitable for a student or trainee teacher looking to expand classroom experience and pursue a career in education.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver the pre-planned work set by the Teacher and ensure all pupils stay on task and complete the work.
  • Respond to questions and deal with immediate problems in accordance with the school’s policies and procedures.

Role Details

This is a flexible role that can fit around your studies or other commitments. You are not required to assess, mark, or plan any lessons. Let Leader Education know which days you are available to work, and we will do our utmost to keep you busy and earning on those days.

You / Qualifications

  • Experience of working in an environment with children or teenagers either in an education, youth, or care setting.
  • A positive, energetic personality.
  • A flexible, adaptable approach.
  • Confidence to manage the classroom.
  • Approachable demeanor.
  • The means to get to local schools for early starts (typically 8:15am).
  • An enhanced DBS registered to the update service or willingness to apply for a new one through Leader Education.
