Role: SEN English Teacher

Salary: £28,000 - £43,000 PA

About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a specialist team supporting students with complex educational needs, including social, emotional and mental health challenges, communication difficulties, autism and trauma-related behaviours. We’re seeking a passionate English Teacher who can inspire and motivate students through engaging lessons that build teamwork, confidence, and resilience in young people who have experienced barriers in mainstream education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and teach lessons for English at KS3 to KS5, working with small groups and individual students.
  • Prepare teaching materials, take registers and write reports.
  • Help students develop confidence, independence and encourage them to learn.
  • Manage behaviour, mark work and talk to parents and carers about their children's progress.
