About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and creative English Teacher to deliver engaging and accessible lessons for students with a variety of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, communication difficulties, and trauma-related behaviours.
As part of a nurturing, multidisciplinary team, your role will involve:
- Planning and teaching inspiring English lessons across Key Stages, tailored to individual learning needs.
- Supporting pupils in developing literacy, comprehension, and confidence in spoken and written communication.
- Providing constructive feedback to guide progress and celebrate achievement.
- Creating a positive, therapeutic learning environment where every child feels valued and safe.
- Working collaboratively with support staff and therapists to ensure holistic progress for each learner.
Ideal Candidate:
