  • HNC in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or something very similar of systems / tech environment (we work on Integrated Security / IT / Life Safety Systems)
  • ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 19443:2018 experience / quals (minimum requirement)
  • Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS or minimum of SSSTS minimum requirement)
  • Chartered Member of the Chartered Quality Institute or other formal quality governance body (not just ISO9001) – desirable
  • Member of the Institute of Engineering & Technology – desirable
  • City & Guilds 2391 Test & Inspection – desirable
  • City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition BS7671:2018 desirable
  • City & Guilds 2356, Level 3 NVQ Electro technical Services Installation – (minimum requirement)
  • Authorised Person (Low Voltage, JSP 375) – desirable
  • PUWER Safety Inspections (C&G Accredited) desirable
  • Legislative Compliance for Complex Projects (CE & UKCA Marking) – (desirable but if not held must be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge)
  • Knowledge and experience of QC1 / QC3 Nuclear industry Quality Standards (minimum requirement)
  • Knowledge and experience of QC1 / QC3 document processes and standards eg/ LTQR’s, SIS, O&M Manual production, Asset Registers (minimum requirement)
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft suite applications (XL, Word) and PDF formats
  • CAD drawing experience eg working off and with produced drawings and documents

Role Headline: Obligations

Responsibility

To provide first line and independent inspection of goods, products, task or documentation as required in accordance with purchase order, quality plan, drawing and/or specification requirements for areas of responsibility as defined in this Authorisation Form.

Authority

The authority to undertake defined inspection activities and stop the release/delivery of nonconforming goods and quality records to customers. Application of the STAMP by the authorised holder implicitly confirms that the goods, products, task or documentation have been physically inspected or test conducted, witnessed, accepted or reviewed in accordance with purchase order, quality plan, drawing and/or specification and/or defined technical requirements.
