We are recruiting electricians for a high-security nuclear facilities project supporting critical infrastructure upgrades. The site plays a key role in the UK’s national security and operates within a highly regulated environment, requiring strict adherence to safety, quality, and security procedures. This is an opportunity to work on a technically demanding project where precision, compliance, and professionalism are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of metal containment systems including: Cable tray, Ladder rack, Trunking, Conduit
- Carrying out first fix and second fix electrical installations
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and site plans
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with site safety regulations, nuclear compliance standards, and quality assurance procedures
- Working within a permit-to-work system and controlled environments
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and documentation
- Collaborating with site teams to deliver work safely and efficiently
Requirements
- Proven experience in industrial or commercial electrical installations
- Strong background in containment installation (essential)
- Valid ECS/CSCS card
- IPAF certification (required)
- Ability to pass DBS check and security clearance
Working Conditions
- 48 hours per week (Monday–Friday)
- Work carried out within a high-security, safety-critical environment
- Strict adherence to health & safety, security protocols, and drug & alcohol testing procedures
- Accommodation provided within 20–25 minutes of site
- Overnight allowance provided
- Rates £20-25 (Experience & qualifications), £22.50 per night allowance when working away
