Leader Education is currently recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to join a friendly and supportive SEND school in Ripon. This opportunity is ideal for graduates, career starters, or anyone with a genuine interest in working with children with additional needs, including SEND and PMLD. The Position
- Long‑term role following a successful trial
- Working hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–3:30 pm
In this role, you’ll support students in their daily learning, helping them stay engaged, develop independence, and feel confident within the classroom setting.
Who we’re looking for
- Graduates or individuals interested in developing a career in education, care, or psychology
- People who are calm, flexible, and understanding
- Strong communicators who can build trust with pupils and staff
- Those who recognise the importance of safeguarding and child welfare
- An Enhanced DBS holder (or willingness to obtain one)
- Previous experience is beneficial, but not essential
