Leeds Leader Education is seeking compassionate and dedicated people to support children and young people with behavioural difficulties in mainstream & specialist SEND schools across Leeds.
The Role
- You will work closely in classrooms with pupils who have a wide range of additional needs, including communication and interaction difficulties, sensory needs, behavioural and social differences.
Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to help pupils access the curriculum
- Assisting in the development of independence and confidence
- Supporting communication and social development
- Adapting your approach to meet the individual needs of each pupil
- Contributing to a nurturing and structured learning environment
Experience in a school environment is desirable but not essential; what matters most for this role is a genuine passion for supporting children, particularly those with special educational needs, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to a long-term placement.
