The school supports children and young people aged 2–19 across two dedicated sites, providing tailored education from early years through to sixth form. The provision ensures that every pupil receives the individual support and guidance they need throughout their educational journey. This is a long‑term position, subject to a successful trial day, with working hours of Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
The Successful Candidate Will
- Have a fully enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
- Have experience working in a transferable role
- Follow personalised curricula and care plans to meet pupils’ requirements
- Work with pupils on both a 1:1 basis and in group settings, communicating effectively
- Participate in the planning and implementation of the curriculum through lesson planning and delivery
- Set up lessons, equipment and activities within the classrooms
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists and other teams to create a holistic supportive environment for pupils
