We’re seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Assistant to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of young people aged 11–19 with complex special educational needs. You’ll help students engage with learning, develop independence, and flourish in a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment. Set on extensive grounds, our school features purpose-built facilities, including a therapy pool and calming sensory garden, enhancing every student’s experience. You’ll work closely with teaching staff and a multidisciplinary team, providing personalised support in the classroom and across structured activities, ensuring every student has the chance to thrive.
Responsibilities
- Promoting pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
- Delivering one-to-one and small group support for students with complex needs
- Providing personal care when required while always maintaining dignity and respect
- Supporting students’ communication, sensory, physical, and behavioural needs, ensuring they receive the tailored guidance and care necessary to thrive
