Leader Education are seeking a compassionate, committed Learning Support Assistant to join the team and make a real difference to young people aged 11–19 with complex special educational needs. You’ll support students to engage in learning, develop independence, and thrive in a safe, nurturing environment. Based in a beautiful school set within extensive grounds, the purpose-built facilities include a hydrotherapy pool and sensory garden, enhancing both learning and wellbeing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting students’ social, emotional, and academic development;
- Delivering one-to-one and small group support for pupils with complex needs;
- Assisting with personal care (including toileting, feeding, and mobility) with dignity and respect;
- Helping students manage their communication, sensory, physical, and behavioural needs.
