Leader Education are seeking a resilient Wellbeing Support Assistant to join a fast-paced team supporting Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 learners with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Location: Chester le Street
Working hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
This specialist provision supports students who are at risk of, or have experienced, permanent exclusion from mainstream education. The focus is on helping each young person rebuild confidence, develop resilience, and successfully reintegrate into education wherever possible. The school maintains high expectations for every pupil, ensuring they continue to access the National Curriculum while benefiting from tailored, individualised support.
With access to a garden and forest school setting, students experience a holistic approach to learning that nurtures emotional wellbeing, personal growth, and positive relationships. Every day presents an opportunity to make a meaningful difference.
